EPİAŞ Launches Training Programs for the Emissions Trading Market

The first training sessions, with 150 spots available, will begin in June

Energy Markets Operating Inc. (EPİAŞ) has launched a training program for the Emissions Trading Market, which is currently being established.

According to a statement by the institution, the first training programs for the market will be held on June 3, 4, and 11, 2026, with a capacity of 50 participants each.

The programs, which will have identical content, aim to ensure participants gain knowledge about the system and acquire hands-on experience using the platform.

The draft regulation was published last July

The Presidency for Climate Change published the draft Türkiye Emissions Trading System Regulation last July, while the Energy Market Regulatory Authority published the draft Procedures and Principles regulation for the system last August.
