Türk Telekom Joins COP31 Sponsors

The company will support the climate summit as a “Master Partner”

Türk Telekom has joined the sponsors of the 31st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, or COP31.

According to a statement from Türkiye’s Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the company will support the summit as a “Master Partner,” the highest sponsorship category established by the COP31 Presidency.

Türk Telekom will also serve as the event’s “Global Digital Transformation and Technology Partner,” taking responsibility for developing its technology infrastructure from end to end.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, Murat Kurum, the president of COP31, met with Türk Telekom Chief Executive Ebubekir Şahin at the ministry.

Several other organizations have previously announced partnerships with COP31. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye will serve as the “COP31 Business Ambassador,” while the International Energy Agency will be a “COP31 Strategic Partner.” The Banks Association of Türkiye will participate as a “Financial Sector Business Partner,” Garanti BBVA and BBVA as the “COP31 Global Banking Partner,” and Koç Holding as a “Global Business Partner.”
