Türkiye Publishes 2026 YEKA Renewable-Energy Tender Notices

Türkiye’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has published tender notices for the Renewable Energy Resource Area, or YEKA, competitions to be held for wind and solar projects in 2026.

According to notices published in the July 11, 2026 edition of the Official Gazette, seven wind-energy tenders covering eight separate sites will allocate a total of 1,500 megawatts of connection capacity.

The ceiling price in the wind tenders will be 5.50 euro cents per kilowatt-hour, while the floor price will be 3.50 euro cents per kilowatt-hour. Should bidding reach the floor price, the competition will continue on the basis of a contribution fee, beginning at €10,000.

Winning wind-energy investors will be permitted to sell electricity on the open market for 72 months from the date the contract is signed. At the end of that period, they will receive a 20-year purchase guarantee.

For solar-energy investments, the government will allocate a total of 900 megawatts of connection capacity across 14 regions.

Solar Tenders Will Allocate 900 Megawatts of Capacity

The ceiling price in the solar tenders will be 5.50 euro cents per kilowatt-hour, with a floor price of 3.25 euro cents per kilowatt-hour.

Winning solar-energy investors will be permitted to sell electricity on the open market for 60 months from the date the contract is signed. A 20-year purchase guarantee will take effect once that period ends.

Applications for the tenders will be accepted on Oct. 13, 2026.
