Turkish and Dutch institutions to collaborate on SKDM accreditation
The Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) and the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) signed a cooperation agreement regarding accreditation under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
According to statements from the organizations, the agreement—signed by TÜRKAK Secretary General Banu Müderrisoğlu and RvA Board Chair Roeland Nieuweboer—aims to contribute to the consistent and effective implementation of SKDM requirements through the sharing of information, expertise, and best practices.
The statements also noted that, in line with the goal of granting accreditations by the end of this year, detailed information regarding when and how verification bodies interested in SKDM accreditation can submit their applications will be provided shortly.
