Application Process Announced for Energy and Carbon Reduction Program

Türkiye’s Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources has published the eligibility requirements for the Energy and Carbon Reduction Support Program.

According to the Ministry, companies in the manufacturing sector, as well as hotels, shopping malls, hospitals and office buildings, may apply.

Officials will evaluate applications under the implementation procedures and principles governing the Energy and Carbon Reduction Support Program. The Ministry will place the top 10 applicants in each sector under monitoring.

After the monitoring period, which covers January through December 2026, the Ministry will conduct a final assessment.

Businesses that reduce their energy use by more than 70 percent will be eligible for grants of up to 30 percent of their 2026 energy expenses, depending on their reduction rate. The grants may not exceed 18,061,775 Turkish liras.

Applications to the Energy and Carbon Reduction Support Program may be submitted online through the Energy Efficiency Support Management System, known as EVDES, from July 1 to Sept. 30, 2026.
